Mustapha Yusif appointed Ghana's Sports Minister, Isaac Asiamah out

President Akufo-Addo has nominated Mustapha Yusif, the former Executive Secretary of the National Service Secretariat as the Minister of Youth and Sports designate.

His appointment was confirmed on Thursday in a statement from the Presidency on the list of ministerial appointments for the new government.

The Member of Parliament for Yagaba Kubore replaces Issac Asiamah who served in the first term of Nana Akufo-Addo's administration.

Yusif excelled in his role at the National Service Secretariat, introducing some wonderful projects for the scheme.

He has been elevated to the Ministerial position according to sources in government and he is expected to head one of Ghana's vibrant ministerial positions.

It is expected that the Minister-designate for Youth and Sports will introduce some of his schemes to Ministry during his tenure in office.
