Dutch-born Ghanaian Myron Boadu is among five AZ Alkmaar players head coach Arne Slot are in contention to play for the Netherlands at the European Championships this summer.

AZ are having an excellent campaign and are currently locked on the same points with Ajax at the top of the Eredivisie table.

Calvin Stengs and Myron Boadu have already made their Netherlands debuts this season, and Slot can see them making Ronald Koeman’s squad for the Euro’s.

Slot told Studio Voetbal, “They are busy with a very good season and show that they are good in top matches. I can find that, but in the end, Ronald Koeman will have to decide.”

Slot can see five of his players in Oranje, “Marco Bizot is busy with a fantastic season and has been called up several times and as I look at it, Teun Koopmeiners and maybe Owen Wijndal are also in the picture.”

The 19-year-old has scored 20 goals and registered 6 assists in all competitions this season.
