Nania FC have been handed a tough draw against local giants Great Olympics as they begin their quest to retain the FA Cup.
A total of 96 teams drawn from the second and third tier of Ghana football were paired against each other at the preliminary stage of this year’s competition during its launch in Accra on Friday.
The fixtures have been divided into three zones with each zone consisting 16 fixtures and is expected to start on December 13.
The teams will be eliminating each other at the prelims until such a stage where Premier League clubs will join to compete for the ultimate.
Nania FC beat Premier League giants Asante Kotoko to emerge winners of the competition which bounced back last year after a ten-year hiatus.
They will be representing Ghana at next edition’s of the Caf Confederations Cup.
