Hearts of Oak new coach Samuel Boadu will bring his own assistant as he begins his career in the capital.

The giants have agreed to allow him bring his own number two in a bid for him to have a strong hold of the technical direction of the team.

However, its unclear if he will bring former Medeama assistant coach Hamza Obeng to the club.

Obeng, who holds a CAF License B certificate has been an able deputy in the past two years in Tarkwa.

But he is currently with the Mauve and Yellows as the gaffer made the switch to Hearts - with an official announcement made on Monday.

GHANAsoccernet.com understands that the other backroom staff will remain intact.

The former Medeama coach will receive a massive financial windfall as he makes the switch to Hearts of Oak.

Boadu has been tasked to transform the side and end their 11-year wait for a Ghana Premier league crown.

However, the job comes with huge pressure on the young gaffer - who impressed heavily during his three-year stint in Tarkwa.

Despite not completing a single season due to external circumstances, he is highly regarded in the West African nation.
