Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar has made some surprising admissions about his life in football, claiming that he wasn't always happy in the sport.
The Brazilian revealed that he once considered calling time on his career.
"I asked myself once if I wanted to continue playing football," Neymar said during an interview with the magazine Gaffer.
"I went home one day with my head all over the place and then I started to think about everything I did to get where I am today.
"My love for football calmed me and brought me back down to earth".
The former Barcelona star did admit, though, that pressure doesn't affect him very much.
"I'm someone who can handle pressure easily, and that's why I'm the Brazil and PSG No.10," Neymar said.
"I'm very grateful to be representing teams like Brazil and PSG. I know I have to give 100 percent every time I play, because it's what everyone expects from me".
Neymar has just added yet another trophy to his collection by winning the Trophee des Champions under new PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino.
