No Christmas party for Christian Atsu as Coach Eddie Howe demands focus for relegation battle

Ghanaian winger Christian Atsu and his team mates will not be partying this Christmas as head coach Eddie Howe calls for focus ahead of the packed Christmas festivity.

Bournemouth who are the current champions of the English division one championship pulled the biggest shock of the season with a 1-0 win over Chelsea who the current premier league champions at the Stamford bridge.

Despite the victory Eddie Howe says they will have to put aside they plans for Christmas and help push the team to safety.

“Bournemouth is a dangerous place and a small place. If they do plan something I will certainly be aware of it,” Eddie Howe said

“There is nothing official planned at the moment.

“We don’t want any distractions from what we are trying to do. We know the importance of this spell of games and I hope the players will see that.”

Bournemouth is on 17th position with 13 points from 15 games.
