Norwich City boss Alex Neil admits he may shop in the lower divisions in January.
Neil believes there is talent operating down the pyramid.
“You always look lower down the leagues. That is never something you would disregard,” said Neil. “You will always get players like Dele Alli, who has done really well at Tottenham this season, so there are certainly players to be had and found at that level.
“I don’t think there is a huge amount who you can take and put them straight into your first team and they are going to be ready at this point.
“The problem we have is we need guys to be ready to go straight in and do a job. We are not in a fortunate position where we can have guys who come in and they have a year learning their trade to show their goods.”
