'Nothing has changed' - Palmer passes damning verdict on Kurt Okraku Ghana FA administration

Tema Youth president Wilfred Osei Kwaku "Palmer" has passed a damning verdict on the new administration of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), insisting "nothing has changed".

Palmer was speaking for the first time since he was prevented by the Normalisation Committee from contesting last GFA elections was not time in lambasting the new administration.

The astute football administrator cum economist says the Kurt Okraku-led administration has done little or nothing to change the fortunes of football in the West African nation.

Palmer, who is still contesting his disqualification from the Ghana FA presidential race at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), was assessing the six-month old administration of Mr Okraku.

"I must say its quite unfortunate but to state it bluntly nothing has changed," he told Asempa FM on Thursday.

"We would have wished for more reforms to take place but nothing of that sort has taken place.

"We have run football and I'm being blunt. Nothing has changed."

The Ghana FA has been in power for the past six months.

Palmer was widely tipped as the favourite to win the Ghana FA elections before the Normalisation Committee intervened to rule him out.

He is still hoping that the CAS would rule in his favour for the Ghana FA presidential elections to be held again.
