Striker Kofi Nti Boakye says he is in the best condition ever ahead of the new season and ready to help Kotoko defend its Premier League title.
The 25-year-old has been in strutting goal scoring form in the pre-season for the Porcupine warriors where he has bagged brace in three successive matches.
The former Ghana Under-20 striker is in buoyant mood ahead of a busy season and insists he can spearhead the club’s title defense.
“I’m taken it match after match and I believe I’m ready for the season,†Boakye said
“The team is in high spirit. I know it’s going to be difficult because every team will come at us with a different mentality.
“But I am fully fit and raring to fire in the goals for Kotoko.
"I am just praying for an injury-free season and I believe by God’s grace, the sky cannot be the limit for me and the rest of my colleagues.â€
The former Heart of Lions and Liberty Professionals man is eyeing the goal king award at the end of the campaign.
