Yakubu Nuhu Liman will handle Hearts vs Kotoko

Yakubu Nuhu Liman has been appointed to referee Hearts of Oak’s meeting with rivals Kotoko in Accra on Sunday.

The class one referee has been given the nod by the Referees appointment committee of the Ghana FA and will be assisted on the lines by Augustine Akugre and Ousmane Ouedrago.

The clash between the two most successful clubs in Ghana has been characterized by an audacious move by Kotoko to sign Hearts top marksman Mahatma Otoo.

The defending champions have slapped in an official letter for the sevices of the 21-year-old.

Hearts insist the move is intended to destabilize the focus of the player and entire team with just three days before the two sides meet at the Accra sports stadium.

Kotoko maintain they have no-ill motive and just interested in breaking their bank to sign the in-form striker.
