Interim Wafu boss Kwesi Nyantakyi will officially open the 2011 edition of the championship in Nigeria on Thursday.

The Ghana FA boss arrived in the South Western city of Abeokuta in Ogun State on Thursday morning for the 10-day championship.

The Super Eagles Team B begin the defence of the title they won last year against Mali at the MKO Abiola International Stadium in Abeokuta while last year’s runners-up Teranga Lions of Senegal clash with Gambia's Scorpions.

Ghana's Olympic team will have their first training session on Thursday morning before engaging neighbours Togo later on Friday in their opening game.
