Czech Republic giants Slavia Prague have confirmed the signing of Liberty Professionals midfielder Joseph Mensah on a six-month loan deal.
The 19-year-old signed the dotted lines on Monday after undergoing a successful trial with the side.
The youngster will be handed a long-term deal if he impresses during his short loan spell at the club.
"This is a young and talented player that can help Slavia,†the player’s agent Viktor Kolar told the club’s official website.
“He has the potential to adapt and succeed here after which a long-term transfer will be possible.
“We have watched his progress and believe he can emulate his compatriot Isaac Sackey at Liberec.â€
Mensah joined Liberty Professionals from second-tier side Cheetah FC where he impressed heavily.
