Ghanaian forward Caleb Ansah Ekuban has completed a season-long loan move to Turkish Spor Toto League outfit Trabzonspor in the ongoing summer transfer window.
Ghana's leading football website, GHANASoccernet.com exclusively reported the 24-year-old was close to joining the Black Sea Storm after arriving in Turkey on Tuesday.
Ekuban joins the Black sea storm after penning a season-long loan deal on Wednesday.
The Ghanaian was frozen out of English Championship side Leeds United squad by manager Marcelo Bielsa after was left without a squad number in the ongoing campaign.
He has been on the books of Leeds since the summer of 2017 when he moved from Chievo Verona in Italy.
The Italian-born Ghanaian struggled to make an impact at Elland Road so far and is not guaranteed a place in the Whites’ starting lineup.
Ekuban started 12 matches and made eight substitute appearances in the Championship for Leeds last season, scoring one goal in the process.
