On-loan Trabzonspor striker Caleb Ekuban made a huge mark on his debut by snatching the match winner for Ghana in Saturday's 1-0 success over Kenya in the final 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
The Italian-born was introduced on the hour mark to replace China-based Emmanuel Boateng.
His first contribution nearly resulted in a goal after he was fouled outside the box after a drag back.
He went anonymous for some time but after 81 minutes he popped up again and his bullet of a shot went through the hands of goalkeeper Patrick Matasi.
Ekuban also qualified to represent Italy but decided to play for the Black Stars in the summer of 2017.
