Ghana Football Association technical director has lauded the qualities of for Hearts of Oak midfielder Seth Oduro Acheampong.

The experienced trainer spotted the budding talent at Hearts training ground and has tipped him to take the Glo Ghana Premier League by storm.

But the 20-year-old had to terminate his contract with Hearts who failed to honour their part of the contractual agreement.

"He is strong on the ball, has speed, controls well, passes well and has a powerful shot. It will not surprise me if clubs come chasing him in January," Akenten said.

"I am not surprised at Seth Oduro Acheampong’s progress at his age because I see him in training and know what he has under his sleeves.

"This is a good player and I know he will become a pillar for any team he does play for and the national team in the near future."

Acheampong, likened to Chelsea ace Michael Essien, has previously played for New Edubiase United in the top flight.
