Pantsil to consider leaving Leicester

Ghana defender John Pantsil could consider leaving English Championship side Leicester City due to the lack of playing time.

The 30-year-old has managed only six appearances since signing on a free transfer last summer after seeing out his Fulham contract.

Pantsil need more game time to safe his international career with new Ghana coach saying only active players will be handed call-ups.

Belgian side Anderlecht and a host of clubs from the Gulf have expressed interest in the experienced right-back.

He was a member of the Ghana team which finished fourth at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.

Pantsil has played in two FIFA World Cup finals.
