PARMA: MORNING TRAINING AT COLLECCHIO

Published on: 19 February 2020

Yesterday Parma Calcio returned to training at Collecchio with an afternoon session. Under the orders of Coach D’Aversa, the Crociati underwent injury prevention work followed by a warm-up and applied technical training. The session then continued with possession drills and finished with a match on a reduced pitch.

Matteo Darmian, who was replaced at the end of the first half of the match against Sassuolo due to the exacerbation of an injury of his left achilles, underwent medical tests which ruled out any musculotendon injuries. However, the tests did confirm the presence of tendinopathy and a specific rehabilitation programme has started.

Dejan Kulusevski and Matteo Scozzarella trained separately. Meanwhile Andrea Adorante, Juraj Kucka, Roberto Inglese and Luigi Sepe all underwent treatment. Antonino Barillà went through consultation with Prof. Cugat, who highlighted improvements with his thigh flexor tendon problem and set up a treatment programme for the next two weeks.

On Wednesday 19 February, the Crociati will have a morning session behind closed doors that will start at 11:00 CET.
