Empire Sports Agency, in collaboration with DBJ Empire, hosted a two-day justifier to scout for talented footballers between the ages of 16 and 19.
Over 2500 young footballers registered for the event, dubbed "ESA Football Select Side 22 Justifiers." It was held at Accra's MCDAN La Town Park.
Daniel Boifio Jnr (DBJ), the head of DBJ Empire and Empire Sports Agency, said, "every good player deserves opportunities, as the event will give more young footballers the opportunity to pursue their football dreams in professional football clubs around the globe."
He emphasized that, for the agency to make a credible impact in the Ghanaian football industry, he organizes scouting tournaments and justifiers such as these for young footballers who aspire to be on the world stage.
This year’s sports event had in attendance Bola Ray, the French Ambassador to Ghana, Anne Sophie Avé, the EU ambassador to Ghana, Irchad Razaaly, Oil Magnet, Beatrice Mensah-Tayui, Managing Director, Pulse (West Africa), Katharina Link, Charles Sajoe Jr, Arsenal player Abeiku Santana and other astute industry players to grace the event.
According to DBJ, hopefully, the selected players will do well when given the opportunity to change their lives. The main tournament in which the selected players will be participating will be in September.
