PICTURES: Black Stars arrive in South Africa for AFCON qualifier

The Black Stars of Ghana arrived in Johannesburg in the early hours of Wednesday to continue with preparations for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against South Africa.

The game comes off on Thursday 25 March at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.

The team arrived at the OR Tambo Airport on Wednesday morning and were met on arrival by Ghana's High Commissioner to South Africa.

Ghana FA Vice president Mark Addo led the Ghanaian contingent to South Africa which also included Other officials such as Black Stars Management Committee chairman George Amoako, Deputy General Secretary, Alex Asante, Fred Pappoe, Black Stars management committee member, Ralph Gyambrah, Chairman of the Brong Ahafo Regional Football Association and Samuel Osei Kuffuor, Management Committee Member.

The Black Stars will take on South Africa on Thursday, March 2021.

The game is scheduled for 6 pm kick (4 pm Gh Time) on Thursday, March 24, at the FNB stadium in Soweto, Johannesburg.

Defenders: Benson Annang, Baba Abdul Rahman, Ibrahim Moro, Nicholas Opoku, Ismail Ganiyu, Yussif Mubarik, Philemon Baffuor, Joseph Agyei

Midfielders: Justice Blay, Gladson Awako, Afriyie Acquah, Mubarak Wakaso, Kudus Mohammed, Adubofuor Kwame Opoku, Emmanuel Lomotey.
