Former Ghana U20 striker Kwame Amponsah Karikari has completed his move to Norwegian top-flight side Haugesund on a one-and-half year contract.

GHANAsoccernet.com broke the news of the striker's move to the Araberne on Wednesday with exclusive details.

The 24-year-old former Inter Allies player arrived in Norway at the weekend and passed a medical before inking the deal on Monday afternoon.

Karikari snubbed a move to Slovak football side MSK Zilina due to failure to agree terms with the former Uefa Champions League campaigners.

The 2011 Ghana U20 striker is eager to get his career back on track after enduring disappointing spells at Halmstad BK and Turkish second-tier league side Balikesirspor.

Haugesund are counting on the former Inter Allies striker to lead their scoring frontier with his reputable image in European competition.

While at AIK Solna, the striker soared his scoring credentials by netting in the Uefa Europa League against Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands and Russian giants CSKA Moscow in the 2012 competition.
