Heart of Lions head coach Hans Van der Plyum is not giving up hopes of handling any of Ghana's junior national teams in the future.

The Dutchman has long eyed a stint with the national teams having applied for the Black Stars job in the past.

The Ghana FA has kept faith with locals handling the junior sides but Plyum insists he can chalk success when given the opportunity.

''I have always maintained that I want to coach any of Ghana's national teams and that dream has not dwindled at all because I think I have the ability to succeed," Plyum said.

''I have lived I Ghana for so long and part of me feels Ghanaian. I have applied for the job in the past but was overlooked but when I get the chance again I won't hesitate to jump to the job.''
