The First Trust G6 clash between Accra Hearts of Oak and Aduana Stars was delayed due to power failure at the Sekondi Essipong Sports Stadium.

The game which promised to provide the spectators with a good bargain came to a sudden halt when the power at the stadium went off.

The game had lasted only eleven minutes when the stadium went completely dark due to the power failure.

Players of both sides remained seated on the field for close to an hour before the organizers resiliently secured power for the game to continue.

Reports from the venue had suggested that authorities at the stadium are owing the Electricity Company of Ghana who found it a great opportunity to pay back.

The organizers of the game, GHALCA, are said to have swiftly organized standby power generators to power the floodlights for the game to resume after halting for close to an hour.
