PREMIER LEAGUE - Lukaku open to meet with Mourinho

Published on: 28 March 2016

Romelu Lukaku says he would be willing to meet with Jose Mourinho amid rumors linking him with Manchester United this summer.

The Belgian striker not found his place at Chelsea under the leadership of the Portuguese coach and ended up saturating at Everton after a period of assignment.

Mourinho is being strongly linked with Manchester United, which would replace Louis van Gaal, and Lukaku has admitted he would be willing to meet with the coach.

"Of course," Lukaku told Derniere Heure. "Some people say I have to convince him, but not about that. Three years ago he was just 20 and was not prepared to stand immediately in a top team."

"I have several good seasons, including this one, and the situation has changed. I'm going to be 23 years and could leave this summer," he concludes.
