Promoted Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC have held a two day scouting exercise in Obuasi.
Over 500 young individuals from the mining town and surrounding communities like Bekwai and Edubiase turned up at the Black Park for the exercise last Saturday.
President Jiji Alifoe, who heads the scouting department of the club disclosed to dreamsfc.com.gh, the motive behind the initiative of holding the exercise beyond the borders of Accra.
''It is important that we give others who may not be able to come to us in Accra the chance to show what they have,'' he said.
'''These kids have something, we have enjoyed the exercise and I am positive about the outcome. Hopefully we shall pick few super talents back to Accra.''
