PSG vs Leipzig: how and where to watch - times, TV, online

Published on: 24 November 2020

All the information you need to know on how and where to watch Paris Saint-Germain host Leipzig at Parc des Princes (Paris) on 24 November at 21:00 CET.

The time has come. PSG will be playing their most important match of the season this Tuesday against Leipzig in an almost 'win or die' situation. If Tuchel’s team, with just three points after three games, get the victory, their chances of qualifying will increase considerably and the group will be wide open. A draw would complicate things while a defeat would almost certainly leave the Parisians out of the competition.

Leipzig, sitting three points above their opponents, have come out on top against the current Champions League’s runners-up and Istanbul Basaksehir, so they will go into the match with less pressure than the hosts.

PSG, lost their last League 1 game against Monaco (3-2), will need to show their best game in their encounter against German powerhouse Leipzig, that last season were beaten by the French side (2-1) in the competition’s semi-finals.

All eyes on Neymar and Mbappé

To get the three points, Tuchel will need his best two players, Neymar and Kylian Mbappé, to be at their best. The Brazilian will make his return after being given a 30-minute run-out against Monaco. He will partner with Mbappé and Ángel di Maria in the attack.

Ander Herrera is doubtful after he picked up a knock before the game against Monaco, while Marco Verratti is still not a confirmed starter for this game.

Marquinhos and Leandro Paredes didn’t feature in the starting lineup on Friday, but they are expected to come back into the fold against Leipzig.

Meanwhile, Moise Kean, Pablo Sarabia, Mauro Icardi, Idrissa Gueye and Julian Draxler are unavailable due to injuries.

Upamecano will play against PSG

As for Julian Nagelsmann’s team, defenders Nordi Mukiele, Lukas Klostermann and Marcel Halstenberg are all injured, while Willi Orban seems to be fully fit.

The good news for the German squad is that Dayot Upamecano will play in Paris after featuring against Frankfurt.
