Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick says his squad didn't get enough out of the first 25 minutes of their Premier League match with Everton on Saturday and couldn't find a way to score after the Toffees did.
Anthony Gordon provided the only goal of the match, for Everton in the 27th minute, and Rangnick says from that point on, United were just playing catch up.
"Whenever we score the first goal, even in the past, I think we had enough confidence and we won most of those games. When you concede the first goal yourself, we have to say we lost a little bit of our composure, of our stride. Maybe also a little bit of our confidence. In the end if you don't score a goal against Everton, and all respect towards Everton, they have a good team, but if you don't score against a team who conceded three goals against Burnley, in the end you cannot expect to get anything out of it", Rangnick said.
