Addressed by Transfermarkt.de over almost 24-year old German international striker Timo Werner having been heavily linked to a Liverpool summer move, RB Leipzig CEO Oliver Mintzlaff stated: "We've been hearing about that one and other stories of the same kind, from the start. I'm not lying, the only possible explanation is someone made that story up, and everyone else copied and published it. Werner is happy here, and his only thought is giving the best of him by playing for Leipzig".
