Real Madrid will not look to sell playmaker James Rodriguez this summer, reports AS.
James, who cost the Bernabeu giants 80m euros when he moved from Monaco in the summer of 2014, has had a difficult second season in the Spanish capital under Rafa Benitez and current coach Zinedine Zidane.
The Colombia international, who has been out of favour in recent months, wants to hold a meeting with senior club figures to discuss his future after this month’s Champions League final.
However, according to AS, club president Florentino Perez has informed the player’s camp he is considered not for sale.
