Real Madrid have announced that their players, coaches and executives have agreed to temporary pay cuts of between 10 and 20 percent due to the coronavirus pandemic.
"This decision, taken by players, coaches and staff, avoids traumatic measures which would affect other workers" the club said in a statement.

Meetings were held with players' agents on Tuesday, sources told ESPN, as Real Madrid evaluated different scenarios based on possible dates for a return to competition.
The final figures will vary depending on when and how the 2019-20 La Liga season is completed.
Barcelona and Atletico Madrid had both already announced 70 percent salary reductions for their players.
