Atalanta coach Edoardo Reja feels let down following his side’s 3-2 defeat at home to Fiorentina and believes his team were on top for much of the game.
Now without a win in their past 11 games, Reja had hoped his team would buck the trend against the Viola, though ultimately failed to break bast their defence when it counted.
“We pressed well and we had the best opportunities,” Reja told Radio Rai after the game.
“The only thing which we were unable to do was to find the back of the net.
“It has now been 11 games since the last time we won, it’s clearly effecting the guys, they feel dejected and are all wondering as to how we failed to win a game that was in our hands.
“Fiorentina were skilful but also very lucky.”
