Right to Dream Academy have won the gold medal in the prestigious Telly Awards for the documentary US-based striker Francis Atuahene.

In January 2019, the academy premiered  the documentary on their graduate who is owned by FC Dallas.

The short film titled 'A Dream Is Born' looked at Atuahene's journey from Techiman to becoming a professional athlete in the Major League Soccer.

The 22-year-old believed his story will serve as a motivation for people not give up on their dreams and work hard to achieve it.

The Telly Awards, established in 1979, is the premier award honouring video and television across all screens.

It receives over 12,000 entries from all 50 states and 5 continents.

Entrants are judged by The Telly Awards Judging Council—an industry body of over 200 leading experts including advertising agencies, production companies, and major television networks, reflective of the multi-screen industry the Telly Awards celebrates.
