High-rising Ghana youth international Godfred Donsah flourished in midfield for Bologna as they halted Juventus's 13-game winning run in Italy with a 0-0 stalemate at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara on Friday night.

The 19-year-old midfield dynamo was named by Roberto Donadoni on the right side of midfield and lasted the entire duration of the game as the Rossoblu had the only shot on target, while Juve's Paul Pogba wasted two good chances after the break.

Juventus had not left a point on the road since losing 1-0 at Sevilla in the Uefa Champions League last December.

But a well composed side featuring the 2015 FIFA U20 World Cup Ghana star held them with a well tactical plan deployed by the former AC Milan star Roberto Donadoni.

Bologna have moved a place up on the ladder to 9th and edged closer to securing an European spot for next season - but they could slide back with games scheduled for next season.

Juventus are now two points ahead of second-placed Napoli, who entertain AC Milan on Monday.

Friday's start was Donsah's 13th league appearance of the season and has notched 2 goals with three assists for the crusading Rossoblu.
