Roberto Martinez: I'm concerned by the lack of happiness Hazard's feeling in this period

Roberto Martinez isn't overly concerned by Eden Hazard's latest injury setback, downplaying the physical issues the No.7 has had to endure.

The Belgian had to be taken off by Real Madrid in their loss to Alaves at the weekend, suffering yet another physical problem.

Hazard's international coach, though, doesn't think it's something to worry about.

"It doesn't worry me in the long run," Martinez stated, "I'm concerned about the lack of happiness that he cannot have at the moment.

"Eden should be on the pitch and able to enjoy his football. Unfortunately, now we have to wait a little longer, but we have no long-term concerns.

"We would be concerned if we didn't know Hazard and if he wasn't reacting to the treatment."

Real Madrid's medical department confirmed on Monday that Hazard had suffered a muscular injury in his right thigh, though they didn't offer any indications as to how long he would have to miss.
