Midfielder Sandra Owusu Ansah was adjudged Player of the Match in Ghana's 2-2 draw with France on Thursday in their FIFA U20 Women's World Cup Group C match.

Owusu Ansah was assertive and scored before the half-time whistle to level at 1-1.

The 16-year-old was replaced in the injury time by Rita Darko when Ghana were leading 2-1 but France snatched a late equalizer.

Ansah captained the Black Maidens at the FIFA U17 Women's World Cup finals in Jordan last month.
