Saudi Arabian club Al Fayha cancel contract with Ghana defender John Boye

Saudi Arabia Pro League outfit Al Fayha FC have terminated their contract with the former Black Stars defender John Boye after just five months, GHANAsoccernet.com can report.

The experienced centre back has been released by Saudi Arabian outfit after failing to settle at the club ever since he joined in August 2021.

Boye has been struggling to get playing minutes at Al Fayha where joined them on a free transfer last summer leaving French Ligue 1 side FC Metz.

Boye made only five appearances for Al Fayha in all competitions since his arrival.

Boye previously played for Stade Rennes, Sivasspor and defunct Turkish second-tier side Kayseri Erciyesspor.

He has capped 68 times for the Ghana national team with five goals to his credit.
