Sellas Tetteh names final U20 squad for 2013 African Youth Championship

Ghana Under-20 coach Sellas Tetteh has named his final 21-man squad for the 2013 African Youth Championship in Algeria. 

Defensive trio Prince Koomson, Joseph Attamah Larweh and Prince Addico have been dropped for the continental showpiece.

Coach Sellas Tetteh broke the news to the players after Friday’s training session in Catalonia, Spain where they team is currently fine-tuning ahead of the tournament.

Goalkeepers: Felix Annan (Asante Kotoko), Micheal Sai (Berekum Chelsea) Eric Ofori-Antwi (Amidaus)

Defenders: Jeremiah Arkorful ( Tema Youth) Richmond Nketiah (Medeama) Lawrence Lartey (AshantiGold) Ahmed Adams (Berekum Chelsea) Eben Ofori (New Edubiase) Â Baba Mensah (Neve Yosef, Israel)

Midfielders: Seidu Salifu and Emmanuel Gyamfi (Wa All Stars) Moses Odje and Derrick Mensah (Tema Youth) Micheal Anaba (Asante Kotoko), Kwame Boahene Jacob Appau (Medeama), Clifford Aboagye (Udinese, Italy)  andGyamfi (Maritzburg United)

Strikers: Francis Narh (Tema Youth) Ebenezer Assifuah (New Edubiase)  and Kennedy Ashia (Liberty Professionals)

The Black Satellites are seeking to conquer Africa again after winning the title in 2009 in Rwanda under the same trainer.
