Senegalese Daouda Gueye has been named as centre referee for Medeama’s CAF Confederation Cup eliminator against Al Ittihad Tripoli in Sekondi on Sunday.

Gueye is a sports teacher and speaks both French and English.

Compatriots El Hadji Abdoul Aziz Gueye and Nouha Bangoura will assist the international referee at the Essipong Stadium.

Medeama lost the first leg 1-0 in Tunisia last week and are tipped to advance to the next round.

The FA Cup champions will return to the country on Wednesday night to prepare for the tie.
