The 9th round of Serie A TIM 2022/2023 has come to an end. Here are some statistics and interesting facts about the matches played (Opta data):

Edin Dzeko (36 years and 205 days) has now become the oldest player to have scored 2+ goals for Inter in a single Serie A match, overtaking Sinisa Mihajlovic in 2005 against AS Roma.

Davide Frattesi has scored three goals in nine Serie A appearances this season, only one fewer than he had last term in 36 games played in the competition.

AC Milan have won both against Juventus and Inter before their 10th Serie A match played in a season for the second time in their history, after 1970/71.

Massimiliano Allegri has lost his first ever Serie A match against Stefano Pioli, at the 17th encounters between the two managers in the competition.

Nicolás Domínguez's goal is the 50 th goal scored by a team coached by Thiago Motta in the Italian top league.
