Kuala Lumpur: With less than a month to go until the 2019 AFC Asian Cup gets underway, the-AFC.com roams social media to see what the continent's stars have been up to.

New deals, team and individual honours and fantasy football, all feature in the second instalment of our weekly AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019 social wrap.

New Heights

It has been a breakthrough year for Na Sang-ho who, after winning the K-League 2 top scorer award, finds himself as the only player from the second division making Paulo Bento's preliminary 23-man squad for Korea Republic's final training camp ahead of the AFC Asian Cup. Na picked up the award in a glamorous ceremony last week.

Here to stay

Uzbekistan midfielder Otabek Shukurov has impressed since swapping Bunyudkor for Sharjah FC in the summer, leading his new team to the top of the UAE Pro League table. The 22-year-old was rewarded with a new contract. A morale booster for Shukurov whose 2019 AFC Asian Cup opener will, coincidentally, be played in his club's ground at Sharjah Stadium.

Serial winner

Australia's Tom Rogic celebrated winning the Scottish League Cup for the third year running after his Celtic side defeated Aberdeen 1-0 in the final. The 25-year-old will hope to lift his second trophy of the season when he makes his AFC Asian Cup debut in the Socceroos' title defence in the UAE.
