South Africa-based duo to join Ghana U20 for Uganda qualifier

Ghana Under-20 captain Mumuni Abubakar and Frank Sarfo-Gyamfi will travel with the team to Uganda on Tuesday afternoon.

Abubakar, who signed for Mamelodi Sundowns, is expected in Accra on Monday night to join the team for the trip.

Winger Sarfo-Gyamfi, a new signing for Maritzburg FC, flew in from his new base on Friday night.

Ghana's squad has been preparing under interim coach Maxwell Konadu who guided the team to beat second-tier side Eleven Wise 3-0 in a brush up match.

Uganda's Hippos host the Black Satellites on July 28 at Nakivubo in the second qualifying round first leg tie to Algeria 2013.
