Stade Brest terminates Ghanaian Derick Osei Yaw's contract

French Ligue 1 side, Stade Brest have announced terminating the contract of French-born Ghanaian attacker Derick Osei Yaw.

The had arrived at the club in the summer of 2019 from Toulouse in a deal due to expire in June 2021.

However, the contract has been terminated after an amicable agreement, the club announced on their website.

The 21-year-old spent the second half of the season on loan at AS Beziers who had an option to keep him on permanent basis.

However, he failed to impress them. He made seven league appearances and scored one goal.

Derrick is still eligible to play for Ghana at the national team level despite having represented France at the U19 and U20 levels.
