Bankroller of King Faisal Babies, Alhaji Karim Grusah, has warned politicians to stay away from Black Stars matters after issuing warning to the GFA over coach C.K Akonnor's future.
On Friday, former Member of Parliament for Tema East, Titus Glover dared the Football Association to try and sack coach Akonnor and see the consequences.
"I have heard that the GFA will hold a meeting tomorrow (today) and they want to sack CK Akonnor. We are daring them," he fumed on Oman FM
"Kurt, we are daring you! We are daring him. The future of the Black Stars is linked to the NPP. We want the Black Stars to progress.
"Those of you imposing players on him (CK Akonnor), those who are not allowing time and space to do his work should stop immediately."
And before his comment, Gabby Otchere-Darko, had also stated there was no need to panic.
However, the vociferous Alhaji Grusah warned the politicians to stay in their zones and concentrate on helping clubs in their constituencies.
“The Politicians should not involve themselves in football matters. This is not NPP or NDC matter. They should rather channel their energies in supporting clubs that are in their constituency or regions,” he said.
“They don’t spend money in the game so they should not involve themselves in this issues. If some of them did their work they should have won their seats," he added.
