Striker Latif Salifu hopes to explode at Berekum Chelsea

Striker Latif Salifu is confident he will be an instant hit at Berekum Chelsea.

The 22-year-old has completed formalities with the 2010 Premier League champions by penning a three-year deal.

The diminutive attacker is expected to play a key role for the Blues this season but there are many who feel he might struggle to break into a star studded side.

But the former Ghana under-20 star is confident he can raise the bar.

“I know they have quality players but I also believe that I am a top player and can break into the team,” Salifu said

“Chelsea is a good club and my prayer is that I will get an injury-free season,”

“I hope to play my part for the club to ensure we win laurels.”

Salifu scored 7 goals for Liberty last season.
