Hey Guys,

Happy New Year to you all, I hope you all enjoyed your Christmas break! I had a well rested break with my family and it was really good to back home in Ghana to also celebrate my one year anniversary of marriage with my lovely wife, Menaye.

So just before Christmas I played in Sammy Kuffour's testimonial match. It was an awesome game with a great crowd and I scored one of the goals to help my team, the Black Stars, to a 6-5 win against the ‘Friends of Kuffour’.

I am now in South Africa for pre-tournament training with the Black Stars ahead of the African Cup of Nations.

We are training hard and we had a friendly game against South Africa last weekend where my header got us to a 1-1 draw.

The training is tough going but it will all be worth it when we leave here on the 21st January and head over to Gabon for our first match on 24th January against Botswana.

We have a very strong team and the spirit in camp is great but I am also counting on your support and prayers to help us bring the cup home! Let’s all join in to make mother Ghana proud.
