22. Richard Kingson- Blackpool
Kingson was in the post for Blackpool once again and once again he impressed. He helped them sealed maximum points away to Stoke City.
He stood between Robert Huth and the equalizer on the 75th minute and kept the three points intact for the Tangerines.
Kingson's confidence and composure between the sticks for Blackpool is commendable and cannot be left out of the equation is the team's victory.
4. John Pantsil- Fulham FC
Though he was sluggish last weekend against Arsenal, Mark Hughes maintained confidence in the Ghana right-back and played him alongside Carlos Salcido in defence and he proved his worth with his usual thrilling surges and brilliant cross.
16. Daniel Opare Tawiah- Standard Liege
Opare has always been a preferred right-back at Liege and over the weekend he played an influential role in their slim win against Sint Truiden.
Opare's qualities in defence enable him to fit as a make-shift left-back position.
5. John Mensah- Sunderland
Absolute classy! Trust me, for his constant injuries, Mensah could be one of the best center-halves in the Premiership.
He manned the Black Cats' backline in their trip to the Craven Cottage preventing a barrage of attacks from the home side from causing harm.
6. Jonathan Mensah- Granada FC
His usual strength, power, aerial ball winning ability and rich tackles scored him full mark in Granada's 6-1 hammering of Gimnastics.
8. Michael Essien- Chelsea FC
Though Chelsea have blemished themselves in their recent performances, Essien's form is not touched.
The ball-battler served the purpose of a quality midfielder with his power and pace.
Had it not been Didier Drogba's missed penalty in the nick of full time, Chelsea would have carried the day.

The 'Ghetto Kid' ninth minute opener was an important ignition to spark the Rossoneri riot over Bologna on Sunday afternoon.
He turned provider for the second goal scored by Robinho and was influential in midfield

10. Kwadwo Asamoah- Udinese Calcio
Asamoah missed a golden opportunity early in the game to fire Udinese into the lead but atoned for that with his display in the second half which helped them to fight from behind and triumph over Fiorentina.

One could say numerical disadvantage cost Marseille maximum points. Andre tormented Auxerre and constantly threatened them with his speed and skill.

14. Mathew Amoah- NAC Breda
For the mere fact that his ball found the Utrecht net, there should be no questions to answer for his place in the team. His bullied the Utrecht defenders until his header forced a deflection for a goal on the night.
19. Dominic Adiyiah- Reggina
The AC Milan loanee is gradually putting behind the disappointment of failing to cement his place at the San Siro.
Last week, we aided his Serie B side snatch the equalizer and this week was superb through out the match to gran the watch winner against Grosseto.
He was handed a start by his head coach and justified his selection.
