Top Ghana FA officials absent from ex-Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah's Book Launch

Published on: 01 February 2020

Former Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah launched his book "Leaders Don't have to Yell" in Accra on Friday night but top officials of the Ghana Football Association were absent.

The absence of the Ghana FA president Kurt Okraku, General Secretary Prosper Harrison Addo and members of the Executive Council has raised concerns about the relationship between the coach and the Football Association after his exit.

Appiah's contract as head coach of the Black Stars was not extended after its expiration in December 2019 by the Ghana Football Association.

GHANAsoccernet.com understands that the event, held at the Alisa Hotel, was open to the public and in attendance were some ex-national team players, family and friends of Kwesi Appiah.

Kwesi Appiah has promised to reveal more secrets on his career and time with the Black Stars in his second book.
