Draymond Green: Sorry to see Payton go
Gary has moved to Portland Trail Blazers and will receive $28 million over three years.
First, I want to congratulate Gary Payton. You deserve it, man.
By the age of 29, Gary hasn’t stopped working hard. Work, work, work. Sorry to see Payton go, but I’m glad he got the money he deserved. Checked out his Wikipedia page a few days ago, saw the number of his moves and teams… he never gave up.
I’m very happy for him. Not happy that he’s gone, but it’s always great when guys get their money’s worth. Seeing Gary get what he rightfully deserves is awesome. Happy for him. Congratulations, champ, stated Green.
