Jurgen Klopp provides worrying injury update on Thiago Alcantara

Thiago Alcantara’s time at Liverpool is maybe coming to an end as his contract with the club expires at the end of the season.

His 2023/24 campaign with the Reds is one of the worst ones as he has made only one appearance and has been suffering from injuries.

Currently, Thiago is out with a muscle injury and Jurgen Klopp was asked to provide an update on the player.

Speaking ahead of Liverpool’s FA Cup fifth round clash with Southamtpon on Wednesday, Klopp said: “There is no timescale. I don’t know [if he will play again this season]. It’s not that he might be in training in two weeks. I can’t say more about it.”
