Novak Djokovic gives verdict on his potential Australian Open semi-final opponent

Novak Djokovic has reached the Aus Open 2024 semi-finals and is waiting for his opponent. His potential opponent in the SF could be the winner of Jannik Sinner vs Andrey Rublev.

The pair will play on Tuesday, January 23, 2024.

Djokovic reached the SF following a 7-6(3) 4-6 6-3 6-3 win over Taylor Fritz.

After the game, Nick Kyrgios came on the court to ask Djokovic some questions. He asked about the potential opponent in SF Sinner and Rublev.

Djokovic replied: “Sinner is playing the tennis of his life, he had a great end to the season. We had some very hard-fought matches; I expect him to always play at the highest level.”

Djokovic last faced Sinner in the ATP World Tour finals and celebrated a 6-3 6-3 victory.
