Max Verstappen is writing his story with Red Bull and the story is an epic one.

The 26-year-old became a three-time World Champion in a row when he won the Formula One 2023 title.

Verstappen is currently the hottest prospect in Formula One. He kicked off the F1 2024 season with a win in Bahrain and is expected to continue the same way and win his fourth title.

The Red Bull Racing star is also expected to break several records in 2024.

Let’s take a look at what records Verstappen could break in 2024.

Top 5 records that Max Verstappen can break in 2024

1. Four consecutive F1 drivers’ championships

Only four people have won the driver’s championship four times in a row and Verstappen could join the elite if he wins the Formula One 2024 title.

Current record holders are:

Juan Manuel Fangio (1954-1957)
Michael Schumacher (2000-2004 five consecutive)
Sebastian Vettel (2010-2013)
Lewis Hamilton (2017-2020)

2. Most consecutive races to score points

The record currently belongs to Lewis Hamilton. Verstappen has finished in the top 10 in his previous 41 races, while Hamilton scored points in 48 consecutive grand prix.

3. Most consecutive race finishes

The previous record is linked with another record as Hamilton’s 48 in a row is also a record for most consecutive races finished in F1. That means, if Verstappen keeps his streak he can break the record if he doesn’t suffer any retirement in the upcoming eight races.

4. Climbing up the list of most pole position

Verstappen has scored a pole position 32 times and soon he can move to fifth in the list and be ranked above Jim Clark and Alain Prost (33) and Nigel Mansell (32).

5. Climbing up the list of most podium finishes

Meanwhile, the three-time World Champion has had a podium finish 98 times during his career. He is close to climbing to the fourth position on the list and topping Kimi Räikkönen (103), Alain Prost and Fernando Alonso (106).
